This past Sunday marketed one of the last days of Movember. For those unfamiliar, the cause is spearheaded by the Movember Foundation which is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising $650 million and funding over 1,000 projects focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity. The efforts take place during the month of November and can be symbolized by men growing out their facial hair.
Our friend Veej partner with Jameson Whiskey and approached us about using the FAZE store for their Movember Social Event. It is definitely a good cause and one we would be happy to align ourselves with as a men's clothing brand and store. So of course, we said yes! The event consisted of a couple of barbers from The Ace of Fades Barber Shop cleaning folks' facial hair to conclude Movember, bacon wrapped hot dogs on the grill, and Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey to wet our palettes. This was Jameson Black Barrel's second year as an official Movember partner. Last year, their network raised over $350,000 to help change the face of men's health. This made us even more excited to be a part of their efforts and this cause.
If you missed the Movember Social event at our store, you definitely missed a good one. THANK YOU to all those involved in the event and all those that attended. To stay informed about upcoming FAZE events, please sign up for our newsletter or visit the events section at the very bottom of our website home page. Below are a few photos from the event.
