Kid Cudi has been one of my favorite artists for quite some time now. He holds a style all his own. When you hear a Cudi track, you know it's Cudi. My favorite projects from him are the A Kid Named Cudi mixtape and his Man on the Moon albums 1 and 2. I believe these projects defined his style and solidified him as one of the most unique artists in Hip Hop. Lately, he has been very experimental with his music and this experimentation has come to a climax with his latest album, Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven. I love Cudi but I am not a fan of this album. However, I respect him as an artist for trying to step outside the box.
His latest song, 'All in', takes a trip back to his earlier musical roots. The track was produced by Atlanta super producer, Mike Will Made It. Not only does this track sound like the old Cudi but it's dope to see him team up with one of the hottest producers in the game. I'm not sure what mixtape or album the song will go on but hopefully Cudi can soon give us what we've all been waiting for...Man on the Moon 3!
